The interface between academia and industry

• The institute hosts industry visits and trips regularly to give students various opportunities. It gives students more opportunities to interact with industry regularly, giving them real-time exposure to the industrial world.
• During the visits, professionals from industries and other organizations give guest lectures to keep the students up to date on current trends and achievements in the industrial world.

• Bachelor of Technology (BE/ B.Tech) is a four-year program that culminates in full-time graduation on campus.
• Civil engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, electronics and communication engineering are the five programs available.
• Fees for the first year is INR 70,000.

Civil Engineering

Mechanical Engineering 

• Mechanical engineering is one of the critical tasks in the engineering profession, and its concepts are used in practically all physical equipment and systems' design, analysis, development, and construction. 
• Among the different institutes in the region, DRIT's Mechanical Engineering department boasts an excellent infrastructure and the best facilities. 
• It boasts a dedicated and well-qualified faculty with both academic and industrial expertise. 
• Engineering Graphics and Machine Drawing Lab, Material Science Lab, Strength of Materials & Material Science Lab, Fluid Mechanics & Hydraulics Lab, Thermal Engineering & I.C. Engineering Lab, Automobile Engineering Lab, and Production Engineering Lab.

Electrical Engineering 

• Electrical engineering is the study of electronics and electromagnetic engineering. It is one of the most critical engineering fields, with applications in practically every field.

Electronics and Communication Engineering 

• One of the most popular fields is electronics and communication engineering, widespread and rapidly expanding engineering fields. It encompasses a broad spectrum of applications that make our lives simpler and more fun. 
• The Department will always be on a fast track to success with experienced and devoted professors who strive with zest and zeal to promote a dynamic and healthy environment and ideal learning environment for students to thrive in today's competitive economy. 
• The Department has a well-designed, continuously revised syllabus that incorporates all advancements in existing and emerging technologies to stay current with technological trends, providing students with a holistic and pragmatic understanding of the current situation.

Computer Science and Engineering 

• The undergraduate degree in computer engineering is unique in that it provides support for the broad areas of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. 
• These applications are utilized in computer systems' programming, communication, and control system design and structure. The operating system and the hardware are all critical software and are all part of the design. 
• This is a fantastic subject, with prospects in software firms and higher education. Thousands of international and national software businesses hire computer engineers, such as Microsoft, Google, Yahoo, Amazon, IBM, Facebook, Oracle, Cisco, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, and others.

Humanities and Applied Sciences

• Applied Sciences & Humanities comprises physics, chemistry, mathematics, and English departments. PHYSICS DRIT's Physics Department is dedicated to providing students with innovative learning opportunities. 
• Faculty members of DRIT are well-versed in their fields and have a wealth of expertise. They always encourage pupils to study every physical phenomenon's fundamental ideas and enhance their scientific faculties. 
• The Physics laboratory was created to facilitate student-centred learning and understanding of physics subjects creatively and effectively. Chemistry 
• The Department offers laboratory and theory courses in several sub-disciplines of Engineering Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, and Disaster Management at the B.Tech. Level.

English 

• In India, it is no longer considered a foreign language. It is much more than that, as it has become a global language and, to some extent, India's official language.
• It is critical for all future engineers to understand the intricacies of the English language to communicate more effectively.

• The Student must complete the form in his or her handwriting.
• All entries in the form must be completed correctly; incomplete forms will not be accepted.
• If any discrepancy/ incorrectness or sign of tampering in the markings is discovered during a review of the source documents, the application will be refused, and your admission may be revoked.
• Fees paid under any heading will not be returned, except for caution money.

Library

• There are many academic and general books available for students and faculty to supplement their intellect. More than 10,000 books and journals from national and international journals are kept at the Institute's library.
• As part of encouraging and facilitating research-oriented teaching-learning, the library subscribes to many professional, scientific, and e-journals of national and international reputation.

Hostel

• DRIT has excellent hostel facilities (separate for boys and females) on the Hostel campus, allowing students to maximize their academic and personal development time. 
• The hostels provide a "home away from home" atmosphere for hundreds of students. 
• The goal is to establish an ideal, suitable, and motivating environment for students to stay focused on their academic goals. 
• The hostels are well-equipped with power, running water, required furnishings, telephones, water coolers, refrigerators, and amenities like television and indoor games. All of the rooms are light and well-ventilated. The hostellers are protected 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Transport

• The Institute provides transportation for day scholars and staff personnel throughout Jaipur and the nearby satellite towns with its fleet of buses. 
• This service provides convenient and safe transportation. The Institute has 15 buses available for transportation.
